I wouldn’t know where to start or stop. The world is full with people, outcast, being slaughtered by others. Is there no humanity? The United Nation was supposed to act on the behalf of people rights within the homeland and protect them from the types of wrong we have seen but still, even within the last 20 years, the Chinese experience the brutality of Tiananmen Square. I think that when we stop this idea of inequality within a country then we will stop the kind of hardships that so many experience.

We Trade Our Silence For Cash

Winter season comes and they flock to our shore

Europeans, Americans, Canadians and a whole lot more

Trading monies for golden sands and crystal clear waters

Regardless to what they thought of our sons and daughters

Along time ago we banned the sale of any merchandise

Distributed through South Africa so as not to compromise

Equality standards wronged by the Apartheid regime

Outrageous practices from a Government extreme

United States is said to have had its share of wrong

Ruthless genocide of natives and Blacks not feeling to belong

So many racial battles fought for civil rights

It is unconscionable to see Blacks having to fight the Whites

Lots of pockets of cruelty has colored the past

Every nation seems to have slaughter their outcast

Now the descendants of this brutality

Calls for you to walk away, pretend you didn’t see

Eras of wrongs committed and some not so long go

Forefathers laid the bricks in history now descendants must know

Our people, their people, and your people too

Remained bruised by the past and cash wouldn’t do

Clean up your past by planting remorseful seeds

Assure your regrets by sharing the mended proceeds

Silence can be bought but the pain still screams from the past

Horrific past may not go away but you can stop having an outcast

For Amariah

Posted: September 30, 2009 in Best Wishes

I want to wish the child of a special friend a Happy Birthday today!  We only reconnected and I learnt that she was a mother and still as sweet as she always was, may be sweeter. Most of us mature with time into beautiful people, aware of past mistakes and forged into better decision makers. I was shocked at the maturity of my friend after many years of not speaking with her. I have no doubt with her present attitude she makes a great mother.

For Amariah

For God so love the world

One boy he gave us but also one special girl

Remember this and you’ll always be

Anointed with His love specially

May you find wisdom early as the Bible says

And live in God’s Word and in all His ways

Rewards are in Heaven for those who endure

In Heaven God promises you benefits galore

Amariah you are 5 years old now and all is okay

Have a very special and God Blessed Birthday!

Why The Shy Guy

Posted: September 29, 2009 in Tenderly

Sometimes you want a person with experience to help you along the way. Though this may be true an experience person may come with a degree of baggage that you inherit.  The not so experienced person has to depend on a higher authority for direction.

In Isaiah 45:2
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight:

Why The Shy Guy

When you want to be sure

He is as he says he is and a whole lot more

You must test the waters before

Though he says yes don’t think it right

His judgment is not as good as your experienced
foresight

Exercise real caution before you think you might

Search high and search low

Have all the facts together before you go

Your life must never be a puppet show

Give your best and insist that he

Uses his best effort too to achieve perfect harmony

You chose each other but God will bless the unity

I Whistle A Merry Tune

Posted: September 29, 2009 in Tenderly

Often I am able to hide behind a whistle and a brave walk. I learn this method from my brother, who learnt it in the Boy Scouts. The tune said “When ever I feel afraid, I hold my head erect and whistle a merry tune, so no one will suspect, I’m afraid.” And ended “You can be as brave as you make believe you are.” This was a very positive message in my life and I practiced it daily on my way home from school. The Bow Road was long and dark and every person coming, a potential killer, especially if they were running and approaching you from behind.

I Whistle A Merry
Tune

In times of uncertainty, in times of fear

Whistling causes me to appear

Hopeful and courageous to others about

In times of trouble I appear to pout

So often when people think I know

They can never guess it’s just a show

Looking brave is simple to achieve

Easily whistle and soon you will believe

Anything is possible don’t takeoff or run

Make yourself brave by whistling and your work is done

Every time you convince yourself first

Responses to newness is as easy as rehearsed

Refrains when whistled merrily

You fool yourself then you fool every body

Talk bravely even when you are shaking at the knees

Use positive affirmations and not the polite please

Never let them know how terrified you really are

Every time I’m afraid I Whistle A Merry Tune and walk
like a star

Fruits On The Table

Posted: September 29, 2009 in Love

I always wondered why people would waste time putting plastic fruit on the table when fresh fruit can be washed and place right there ready to eat. I am luckier than most because I don’t need to buy most of the fruit I love the most.  I have an affinity for plums, it used to be plums of all kinds but today,  I will narrow my selection

To The Boat And Back

Posted: September 29, 2009 in Tenderly

I was full of energy, under the circumstances. I walked more than usual and I exercised in the water more too. I felt so strong I took a longer swim than I usually do. The others watch as I head for the Catamaran and I never looked back. I was determined to touch the boat and that’s were most real deeds are born, from determination

To The Boat And Back

Today was unusual for me

Once I got in I felt I had owned the sea

The Catamaran boat for days had been out of my reach

Had been compelling other good swimmers at the beach

Everyday they swam out and some would touch it

But I could only watch their adventurous habit

Observe from the distance as they were not scared

And like little dots in the water they bobbed and disappeared

Today I walked 300 paces bristly before I went in

And the water was warmer than usual, I continued exercising

Noticed I still had energy, lots to spare

Did warm up laps, skipped, punches and today, right there

Braved my target and was off to the Catamaran

Arriving at the boat I touched it and told the man

Can’t say I didn’t, I finally did, and they thought I would never reach

Kept hoping and today I did it, the Catamaran was docked on the beach

A Note To God

Posted: September 28, 2009 in Religious

If you could write and send a message to the Lord, a note, what would you want to say.

Is there something that is more important to you than everything else?  When you ask the Lord for help remember how you ask. A man out of fear of his driving may ask that his driving be improved but on the road are reckless drivers who will hit you, even with your best driving skills. Pray for your fellow men to

A Note To God

All the political polarity and war broke out

Nefariousness and lasciviousness were all about

Only the rich were immune to the adversity

The poor were starving and suffering from insecurity

Everything seemed familiar, it was part of a dream

Three years ago I awoke to my own terrified scream

On my bedside was a note pad where I wrote

God, I thought, please God, you must read this note

Only, it got lost, was never posted and three years
later

Dear Lord, we need you today but more in the future

A Kiss From My Heart

Posted: September 28, 2009 in Love

Did you read the recent article that feature the importance of a kiss and the significance it has when people lean either to their right or to their left. There is a belief that when you lean right, you better expose your hearts to each others and the emotional communication is closer. I don’t believe that this has any real bearing on relationships but I do believe that kisses are true expressions of the innermost feeling and therefore shouldn’t be use casually.

A Kiss From My Heart

And when I told my love the way I felt

Kept nothing back, my love’s heart to melt

I puckered up and leant to my right

Saw my love complementing in the candle light

Stop, you compelling emotions! I need to be sure

For me, I needed to know a whole lot more

Renounce this courtship if the two hearts don’t speak

Or if our spiritual love for God is weak

May lips never meet in an intimate way

My heart must first have much more to say

You shouldn’t be allowed to lock lips and stir emotions
around

Hearts must search until true love is found

Eyes can deceive and lips can too

And in order to know a lovers kiss is true

Reach deep into their soul before you start

Then pucker up and give your love A Kiss From The
Heart

Good Morning Sunshine…Why?

Posted: September 27, 2009 in Tenderly

The Sunshine in our lives symbolizes many things, the things that pull us up when we are down. So often we believe there is no where left to turn and then the Sunshine in our lives comes out and melts away the despair. Sometimes you can the Sunshine for others. Whenever you have the opportunity to warm the lives of those in need, remember, “the least of these my brothering”

Good Morning
Sunshine….Why?

Good morning Sunshine why do you hide

Obscured behind that grey cloud so wide

Our days don’t feel the same unless you

Dry away the early morning dew

Morning Sunshine, will you stay

Or will you be coming out later today

Rain clouds have gathered and darkened the sky

No signs of your warm rays to draw nigh

It’s been long since you were gone and now I need you

Need your warming arms and guiding light too

Got no where to go without you here

Sunshine I need the life giving light you share

Under these shadows here with nothing to do

No where to go and feeling this blue

So little matters if you wouldn’t come out

Hush my fears and dispel my doubt

I am lost in darkness, I grope but can find

Nothing to rid me of this gloom of mine

Eden was here but it’s now threatened by decay

Without your light my precious flowers will soon dwindle
away

How long are you going to be gone Sunshine, is this
good-bye

Yesterday was dark too, Good Morning Sunshine…Why?

Love Speaks Softly

Lonely? I know, but take it slow

Our love will flourish and in time will grow

Very soon we will be in perfect harmony

Embracing each other in ecstasy

Sunshine my love, enjoy the days

Praise the Father and always

Enrich your spirit through the things you do

Always remember the guidelines He’d given you

Keep the faith and His promises He will keep

Slow down, Sunshine, He’s never asleep

Share your thoughts, He answers prayer

Or ensures there’s no temptation too hard to bear

For us he has promised happiness

Trust that in time we’ll share bliss

Lonely? I know, but take it slow

Your love speaks softly and says, Hello!
