What an experience, the disgust. He came into the store in his palatable façade in the company of a young lady who was obviously a play mate. As they walked around the shop entertaining each other with lustful petting, he found the time to secretly flirt with one of the girls behind the counter. In fact, as he embraced his play mate, he looked over her shoulder and scour the attendant from head to toes with hopes of having her return some attention. It was his intention to find an attendant who showed interest today and subsequently return to her when he is alone. And one day his bait will catch. My friend examine Psalm 101

Psalms One Hundred and One

Praise will I sing of your judgment and mercy

Sing to you Lord and behave perfectly and wisely

And when will thou Lord be here

Lord I’ll walk in my perfect house until you draw near

Mine eyes shall stray from all wickedness

Shall not cleave to the men I hate, the faithless

Obstinate hearts shall from me depart

No wicked person or evils with me can start

Everyone that slanders their neighbor privately

Him will I cut off from me

Uncouth people with proud hearts and haughty eyes

Never should I endure their devious guise

Dwelling with me shall be the faithful of the land

Righteous men shall my way command

Evil doers and those who practice deceit

Dwell not in my house or in my house meet

And he that telleth lies

Neither shall he tarry in my eyes

Destroying early in the morning, shall I the wicked of the land

Obliterate all evildoers by the might of His hand

No more shall they walk with devious accord

Evildoers shall I cut off from the city of the Lord

Please don’t misunderstand this to be indifference. Before you can take this recommendation know this, a pure heart is required. Feed your spiritual self and trust in the Lord. As in

Proverbs 29:25
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe

Relax Let It Happen

Rest my friend, it’s meant to be

Exciting in time but first there’s agony

Let your heart guide you to do what’s right

And obey its instructions without a fight

‘Xamine these other crossroads in life

Like the moment he asked you to be his wife

Ecstasy that was preceded with surging agony

The painful entrance of your first baby

In all this, pain brought you happiness

The pain came first with agony and distress

How easily you may have wondered to a safer place

And bid adieu to your tormenter face

Promises of happiness with always prevail

Positive thinking guarantees you will never fail

Even when faced with stares and scoffs and eminent despair

No matter what the pain, Relax and let it happen dear

Every night is a promise for the day to come. I pray before selecting the one that the Lord guides me to. My interpretation of these promises are not meant to be an explanation of their meaning but rather an expansion on how I believe they speak to my life or those around me. Here is one from the first days my friend, daily telephone and devotional partner, took up new residence, where a telephone line was at the minimum 5 weeks away

Day 10 (re-posted)
The final one before my visit for her Birthday. The 10 were all compiled into a special Birthday Card. You will note that all the re-posted one, previously written were promises I had some time before. I believe the repeat is very intentional

Psalm
27

The
LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength
of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

One Thing I Ask For

The Lord is my light and
my Salvation

He is the strength of my
life, my protection

Enemies come, my foe and
the wicked, my flesh to eat

Lord they stumbled and
fell at thine feet

One thing have I desired
that will I seek after

Residing in The Lords
house and therein enquire

Demons today may encamp
me, and wars rise against me

I shall not fear, I’ll
trust Him confidently

Should troubles persists
I will bow to my knees

My head He will lift up
above my enemies

Yes, then I shall sing
aloud my praise

Let the world know there
is glory these days

I cry with my voice and
He has mercy

God I shall always say
unto Thee

Hide not Thy face far
from me but draw Thee nigh

Thou has been my help,
forsake me never and I

Always will serve you
and walk your way

Never questioning but
asking your help as I pray

Dear Lord, I am humbled
by your undying love

My body is yours as your
conduit from above

Yours to reach those who
in desperation stray

Searching for
enlightenment along the wrong way

And with your strength I
too shall be strong

Lord with your help I’ll
make right the wrong

Victory I’ll share and
spread around me

And barricade myself
from the threatening enemy

Then with the glory of
your comforting hand

I’ll spread the victory
throughout the land

One thing I ask for and
for this I shall seek

Nothing else but the
glory you promised the meek

John 4:4

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because
greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Greater Is He That Is In You

God made the mountains, the valleys, the trees

Rivers and lakes, the ponds and the seas

Every fowl of the air flying low or high

Animals wild and those that draw nigh

The Lord made creatures, too small for us to see

Eyes can’t perceive them but they’re vital to our
ecology

Really large and more complex organisms that dwarfs
us all

I see a whale or an elephant then I feel really small

So for all this vastness and variety

He is greater than any other can be

Evil tries to invade us as we walk the earth

The spirits of Satan wish to inflate their sinful
worth

Human kind who never let the Savior in

Are vulnerable to this evil and the world of sin

They are lured into a new vastness of dark gloom

It can attract with glitz, money and lust in its
costume

Superficial pleasures and fleeting happiness

It’s easy to be taken in without God’s righteousness

Nothing defeats the darkness but the light

Your invitation to the Lord will yield His might

Overcoming the Evils of the world to free you from
sin

Ultimately you’ll be saved because Greater is He That
Is Within

Psalm
107:9

For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul
with goodness.

The Longing Soul

The Lord He satisfieth
the longing soul

He filleth the hungry
soul with goodness untold

Exalting You Lord comes
with great ease for me

Lord You’ve saved me
from shameful iniquity

Only You can make
possible the desires of my heart

Needs and wants You are
able to set apart

Goodness through
blessings you deliver each day

I need only live
righteously and follow Your way

Now, though the storms
be violent and the waves high

God’s mercies calm my
troubles for He draws nigh

So even when I’m at my
wit’s end

Our Father’s protection
He will extend

Under His wings I shall
soar safe and free

Longing soul quenched of hunger and purged of
iniquity

Isaiah
41:10

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy
God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee
with the right hand of my righteousness
.

Five Faithful Promises

For all the times where
they might have been fear

I think of His promise
to always be near

Very many times I might
have felt alone

Earnestly I pray and I’m
never on my own

Fear thou not He said,
and promised “I am with thee;”

And right away His power
is within me

I no longer tremor or
feel terrified

There is no fear when
with the Lord I confide

He promised “I am your
God,” be not dismayed

For all the times I
needed Him here, He came when I prayed

Under the lowest times
He promised “I will strengthen thee”

Lifted me up from
faintness and put might in my body

Praise God for the
promises He always keeps

Raises me from bed in
the morn from my restful sleeps

Oh Lord you promised “I
will help thee,”

My days have been made
better and especially

I now enjoy the beauty
in all things you made

Such beauties that once
passed me by when no attention was paid

Even with all this you
know life might still bring me stress

So you promised “I will
uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness”

Ezekiel
34:15

 I will feed my
flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.

I Will Feed My Flock

I with you and His
chosen few, shall lie in green pastures

We shall drink there of
the still waters

I know He is God and we
are His sheep

Like a good shepherd He
watches as we sleep

Looks out that no danger
shall visit upon us

Feeds His flock when it
hungers and thus

Every need is met but
still He

Ensures our even greater
safety

Determinedly He seeks
that which is lost

Makes sure to recover
strays at all cost

You’ll find the broken
He will mend

Fallen He picks up,
strengthens the sick, our truest friend

Lord you said “I will
feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down”

On you we have trusted
and now all Christians around

Come to you faithfully
through Jesus Christ our Savior

Kneel and pray that one day we will abide in
Heaven’s Manor

5:5

And
hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts
by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Hope Maketh Not Ashamed

Hug a polar bear and
kiss a shark

Outside at night it is
never too dark

Play with the lions and
other big cats

Eagles and hawks are
friends with the robins and bats

My hope is that I will
live again

At a time when there
will be no sorrow or pain

Keeping check of time
will no longer be

Every moment is valued
differently

Today while I am here,
there is a different hope

Hope to live righteously
and through temptations cope

Never to give up with my
earnest prayers

On the Holy Savior trust
that He will quell my fears

There is hope that one
day someone special will see

Acrostic poems written
by me

Share them with someone
that they may help in some way

How great to be a
positive influence on someone, some day

An audacity of hope helped
Barack Obama the first Black to be

Made President in the USA
the greatest Democracy

Everyone can hope for
earnest desires because Hope Maketh Not Ashamed

Don’t be embarrassed to seek earnest desires, you
are already named

James
5:15

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall
raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

The Lord Shall Raise Him Up

The prayer of faith shall save the sick

He amongst you that may walk with a stick

Even those who may walk no more

Lord has promised to make you better than before

Of earnest prayer and sound belief

Reverent constitution and abstaining grief

Don’t give in to pain, if you do it wins

Soon He takes it away like He took our sins

He hears the prayers from others when you are weak

And returns the color to a flush in your cheek

Lift you up when you were down

Laughter overwhelms what was distraught with a frown

Rained stopped for 3 years and 6 months when Elias
prayed

And he prayed again and the rains returned and stayed

It was a certain show of the power in prayer

So brethren use its power that you may never swear

Effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth
much

He who is ill let him call upon the elders that with
such

Intercession, they can anoint him with oil in the
Lord’s name

May he then be healed if they should do the same

Uplifted by the glory of God and His word that if we

Pray The Prayer of
Faith then even the sinful can be free

Psalm
55:22

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he
shall never suffer the righteous to be moved
.

Cast Thy Burden Upon The LORD

Can’t go on, burden seems too hard
to bear

And life’s crossroads lead you no
where

Solutions to questions elude how
ever hard you try

Trusting comes hard and there is the
temptation to lie

Today yes tomorrow no

Have no consistency where ever you
go

You puff the pillow and turn out the
light

But you toss around and can’t sleep
at night

Under constant stress and there is
little relief

Reminder of younger days in
continuous disbelief

Days are long and the nights’ rests
are short

Evenings have no more beautiful
sunsets at your hilltop resort

No one understands you like you’re
speaking a different tongue

Unable to raise a garden bed, no
plants grew but weeds sprung

People are disagreeable what ever
you say

Only those who work for you pretend
all is okay

Nothing goes right and for deadlines
you’re late

Too often you are ill from the meals
you ate

How often you sit in the back and
never recognize

Evangelical sermons are deeper than
you initially realize

Lots of the things you do not
understand and the burdens you carry

Observe this one verse and they’ll
be gone in a hurry

Repent your sins then “Cast your
burden upon the LORD”

Do this and “He shall sustain you,” your life
shall be in accord
