If it were possible to achieve the attributes of BFT – Belief, Faith and Trust then do what you can. Once you have wisdom then, wisdom teaches you the importance of these characteristics. Wisdom had invited us to seek it early and if we do so earnestly, we will find it.  Having found wisdom then these other traits will become almost second nature. It is having them that we will know how much you should extend yourself.

Must Smile Today Meal time and when she came Unable to eat much so it was the same So many dishes all over the place There before me laid two breadfruits in my face Soft and pale, ripe to eat Much too much for one sitting and I got up from my seat I thought I could in my mind but when I saw Luscious breadfruits I realized my flaw Eating is good but too much of a good thing is bad There is moderation we must strive for so I knew I had One too many and too many of one Didn’t know what to do but I bit in and it all begun A meal of all meals, a spectacular dish Yummy, scrumptious these breadfruits satisfy my every wish

On who do I favor and who disgust When do I give up or give in Make amends for those wrought in sin Use old experiences to measure today’s path Criticize other opinions and choose when to laugh Hold to standards when exception begs Stop others shoving into round holes their square pegs How often should I hear apologies Or succumb to those who start with please Use kindness and forgiveness when people deliberately stray Let my forbearance excuse those who disobey Do I just have Belief, Faith and Trust that all will be well I don’t know whose bound for Heaven but I feel sure whose bound for Hell

There’s No Love

There is no love and it is strange that so many people speak as though there is. There are many people who make the mistake of referring to it as love, I say pay a little more attention and you will see there is none. Nil!.

There’s No Love They embrace and greet Have moments on their feet Exchanging social graces Right afterwards their faces Emotionless and they start Smooth exertion from the heart Never ending maneuverability On top, out front, legs, hips all in unity Life’s passion and strong sweating backs Only counteracted with complementing attacks Victory comes with ecstatic screams at nil Even though the football game ended 4-0, There’s No Love still

Don’t Cut Me Off

I was waiting for a call and it never came. I had to go about my work and when I did, the call came through. Luckily I had told the others that I was expecting it because they called me to the phone. My, these cordless phones, yah would think with all the presence of cellular phone technology that the cordless would be real capable of the 2 miles we were promised 10 years ago

Don’t Cut Me Off Dog gone it! The phone rang Out in the yard and I heard bang bang Now it rings when I am way out here Then I heard them, Honey are you there Couldn’t believe it! It was really for me! Unable to leave the yard cause I was feeding the puppy They brought the extension and I said hello My ears caught an accent that was easy to know Excitement came like a raging flood Only the voice was great but the reception was no good For a brief moment I heard “I’m here!” Five seconds later the line was cut off, five seconds later a tear!

Belated Patsy

It only takes a kind word at the time it is most needed to quell pain that may have festered. I am grateful that there are many of God’s children who continue to work for him to help many of the mere souls that may sometimes lose their light on the paths to eternity. I thank all who help and today a special late thank you to a new friend.

He’s Out Of My Life

And there shall be a time to mourn. But what and how long she mourning b?. I think each individual might have their different way and time to grieve over the passing of someone they held dearly. If that person gave 50 years of their life then is 50 days enough. May be not. But it seems better to remember the very productive life they had than to sulk about death.
